360 Cup CX

Good race weekend pulled together by the crew over at 360 racing. Nice to have some well organized races locally in between all the big races we travel to. Other than me getting sick (puking) during the Cat 1/2 race Sat afternoon after winning the masters race earlier that morning, and the sickness lasting until Monday afternoon, it was a great weekend. My Sunday race was horrible but still it was good to push hard through he weakness of being sick and put up a little fight on the last 3 laps and move up from near last to at least finish in the top ten.

The girls rocked it, Karen won her races and looked sharp while Tori was really getting after it and won her races. Karen is slowly coming into form and should be pretty fast come November and then really flying come Dec/Jan. Tori is for sure been bit by the CX racing addiction, she is actually wanting to train and pushes herself to get faster and better each race at 11, too soon I say so just go have fun!. She keeps talking about racing for the National Championship this year and who knows, it might be within her grasp. At one point during the racing the guy calling the race talked about Karen killing it, Tori flying around and me going fast and said "that is what you call genetics". Karen and I both got a kick out of that. And it looks like Tori might be earning her first nickname, several folks are calling her "Pocket  Rocket", that might just stick, "K-Rocket and Pocket Rocket".

Keith put together a nice video of the racing over the two days. You can see Karen, Tori and me in here a few times.
